Entire New “Wakulla” Educator Orientation and Induction Program Document

STRANDS

1. Introduction and Strands A and B This document provides an overview of the New Wakulla Educator Program and also provides the requirements for Strands A and B.

2. Strand C Teacher Induction Program School Orientation Checklist DUE within 2 months of date of hire. Please fill out this document and then print it for your administrator to sign. Make sure this goes into your induction folder. You can save the file on your computer until it is completed.

3. Strand D Teacher Assessment You need to complete the Professional Development Plan.

4. Strand E Teacher Professional Development You are required to attend different trainings.

5. Strand F Mentor Teaching Collaboration

6. Strand G Teaching Accomplished Practices Must not be signed prior to one year from date of employment. Place the completed Teacher Induction Exist Checklist in your Induction Folder.

7. Appendix A (Wakulla County Self Assessment) Please print and fill this document out. You can return the assessment with your other documents.
